I had the battery replaced and now have the letters "LOC" on my radio display. The radio will not power on. I have tried everything I know of to get it to come on wiht no luck. Everything else is working fine, just this problem with the radio. :

Most vehicles have a security feature on the stereos.I.E.. If there is a power disconnect, the stereo will go into "protection" mode. This prevents a lot of thefts. To fix this, there should be a code to your radio to reset the memory and allow you access, if you do not have this, or it is not in your owners manual, you will need to either replace it with an aftermarket radio of your choice, or visit your local dealership to obtain the code to your radio.
