Intake instal question.

I'm looking at an Eldelbrock dual 4bbl setup, with two 500cfm carbs. What I need to know is what mods if any I need to make. This setup is for looks and not for speed. I have a 75 L48 corvette with a stock 350, 8-1 compression ratio.I have been told by JEGS that it is bolt on with no mods, however several people tell me that I have to change the cam, and the heads. So any advice you have I would apreicate.

Without bigger cam, higher flowing heads, and larger exhaust; it will be an overkill to go with a dual quad set-up. With a low 8:1 compression ratio, you would be better off with a supercharger.
