I have an ongoing problem with my 2002 corvette. Intermitently it goes into reduced power mode. The dash error message says reduced power, service active handling, service traction control. The error code is P1125. Since the car was new it has had the Accelerator Pedal replaced several times. When this happens you can reset it by shutting the power off completely and it will reset. Sometimes it will last for days and sometimes for a couple of hundred feet. The dealer worked on it last year and removed the dash to inspect the wiring harness they found some chaffed wires. It was fine for about 6 months and started up again. I took it to the dealer Monday and I think they are at a loss. The one item that hasn't been changed is the throttle body itself. The throttle position sensor the electronic throttle control module was replaced in 2006. Do you have any ideas?

Could be abck to square 1. It might be the throttle body, but that is a pricey guess. Did they have it on a scanner to watch the sensors to see which one isnt working to set the code? That is for accelerator pedals out of position or dont agree, if they had it on a scanner, they could see if the pedal position sensor is giving the correct voltage to the PCM, which should eliminate it as the problem

We had a similar issue but with more then one code
after all the hair pulling and running out of parts to change pulling and checking the harness, found water at the TAC module connector
I would check for any signs of water in and around the connector
good luck
