1971 Chevy Corvette No pressure at my carb pressure gauge
Engine Performance problem
1971 Chevy Corvette V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 62,745 miles
Replaced mechanical fuel pump, with same high performance pump that was on it when purchased. Had pressure for a few weeks and it fadded off. Turn regulator up to let more fuel thru and worked for a few more weeks but now if I get on it, it just seems to stall, car drives fine if you drive it like a old man, but would like to be able to cut it lose every once and awhile but can't. Bad regulator? Clogged fuel Filter? Hole in rubber gas line at tank are all things that I have been told it could be. What is it or how do I figure out what it is without replacing everything.
