I need to know how to take a heater core out?

Replied on January 4, 2008

Properly disable the SIR system, as outlined earlier in this section.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Drain the cooling system into a suitable container.

Raise and safely support the vehicle.

Disconnect the drain tube from the heater case.

Detach the heater hoses from the heater core.

Carefully lower the vehicle.

Remove the right and left sound insulators.

Remove the steering column opening filler.

Remove the floor air outlet duct.

Remove the heater core cover.

Unfasten the heater core mounting clamps, then remove the heater core from the vehicle.
