There's a whirring sound coming from under my cobalt around the back tires. Seemingly from fuel tank area. It sounds like an electric motor making this noise. Maybe a problem with the fuel pump? Its a spiratic noise that has no pattern, however I noticed that the exhaust has gaps in it that is synchronized with the whirring sound. You can feel these gaps when placing hand right behind exhaust pipe.

First of all thank u so much for ur donation it really helps to keep this site going and answering everyones questions. When it's making this noise put ur hand on the gas tank and see if u can feel the noise. Also take a long screwdriver and put it to ur ear while ur touching differnt places while u hear the noise see if u can pin it down. Let me know what u find.
