1981 Chevy Citation Alternator is too big to fit

Electrical problem
1981 Chevy Citation 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I'm having troubles replacing my Alternator, I had somebody take the old one out, and now I'm having troubles fitting the new one in, on the bottom, the cradle is in the way, and on the top there are pressure hoses that I don't know how to disconnect. Which would be the easiest way to go about this, and how?
