1985 Chevy Cheyenne V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles
I installed a newly rebuilt 700R4 transmission. I adjusted the detent cable and have good shift point, but the transmission wii not shift into overdrive.

check to see if the solenoid that operates the torque converter is working. make sure that connector at athe trans is good and not broken down there.
