Hi,

I recently tried to replace a fuel filter in my car, it is attached directly to the rochester 2 bbl carb. I could not get the nipple (attached to the fuel line) which screws into the fuel filter housing to screw off, so I force it and inadvertly pinched the fuel line. So now I need to replace the fuel line. I can't seem to find steel fuel lines can I use rubber.

None of the autostores have a fuel line? Can you save the threaded fittings off the old tubing? If the autostore has a tubing bender and flaring tool, that might be a double flare. They can make you one, don't know if they will? I can't say that a hose is safe?
