I have a 96 cavilier with a 2.2 engine and 130,000 miles. It overheated and I cant find out why. I changed the thermostat to no avail. The water hoses feel full of water when running but the seems to be little or no circulation.

Have you checked to see if youre cooling fan is kicking on, When its about to climb in temperature. Could have a bad fan relay switch. U could try and run a jumper wire from the battery to the power wire on the fan see if it kicks on. If it does, Then youre fan relay is no good. I would also check youre fan Fuse as well. Could be blown if youre fan doesnt kick on.
