93 cavalier- cranks, won't start

I have a 1993 Chevy Cavalier (automatic) with about 145,000 miles. Here's my problem. I went to start my car the other day, it would crank but wouldn't start. I thought maybe my battery was low, so I charged it completely. It still wouldn't start. It has gas in the tank and I can definitely hear the fuel pump buzz when I turn the key, and it sounds the same as always. I'm guessing it could be the fuel filter, but I figured I would ask. The last time I had it replaced was over 2 years ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is your check engine light been on lately?? It may be a camshaft position sensor or crankshaft position sensor. Is it mpfi of throttle body injection?
