2004 Chevy Cavalier Engine Stalling

2004 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 140000 miles
Sometimes when i just start driving my car and im down shifting or slowing..while my clutch pedal is down my car for some reason will just stall..it will start back up no problem..but then at the next light or stop sign it might stall again while slowing down..but only when the clutch pedal is down. after ive been driving it for a lilttle while it doesnt seem to stall on me..any suggestions as to what might be causing this?
