The car comes equipped with an aftermarket auto starter for warming up in the cold weather. After testing the car for codes all checks good with no DTCs. My daughter went to crank the car with the remote start and it cranked up fine but she over cranked the key and the usual starter grind sound was made but then the engine died. I had to reset the theft system with the ignition and since then the car has had problems with just starting up right off. I replaced the fuel pump relay because the car actually flooded when she tried to crank it up again even after I thought all was well. Now, with the new relay, I'm still having issues with it just cranking right up. Could this very well be the PCM having problems? I have no DTCs at this time.
