Air Conditioning problem
2002 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 72000 miles

My wifes cavalier's ac quits blowing cold when car is stoped.I seems to work fine when car is moving. What can cause this? thank you

You might have the troublecodes checked, some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free.

You might let the vehicle idle in your driveway, turn on the ac controls and see if the compressor clutch is engaged?

I did see a bulletin about intermittent cooling caused by the pressure sensor wiring harness being too short, causing an intermittent condition. I don't know if that is your problem or not.
