Recently my car has been making a loud humming noise that has gotten louder, sounds like an airplane. It is when I am accelerating at any speed, it does it when going straight and to the left, it does stop however when I make even a slight right turn or go to the right. I don't feel any vibrations and everything else feels and seems fine.

I say left front wheel bearing. When you turn right that puts more load on the right less on the left so noise goes away.
Hope this helps

I have the same problem, opposite side. Unfortrunately, "docfixit" has it backwards. When you turn right you place more load on the LEFT wheel, because of centrifugal force. Your problem is in the right front wheel. If you're going to do the work yourself, you might as well do both of them.
