I have a 2001 cavalier z24 at idle it is at 1700 RPM I have tryed the IAC valve, MAP sensor, and TP sensor I did not find any vaccum leaks the temp sensor is good. I am out of ideas. The sensors should use 5v power supply I tested it and it has a 7.34v power supply on the MAP sensor and the TP sensor. Would that voltage change the readings and cause it to idle high? Would it be the computer?

I changed the throttle body 2 days later the idle seemed to correct its self so I dont know if the IAC had to go threw a computer relurn or what. I guess your susposed to turn the key on so the valve is fully out then turn the key off and then start the car. This will relurn the IAC position.
