When leaving work tonight, my left front headlight was out. Both high beams work. I drive about 5 miles to home, making a few stops for groceries, etc. When I pulled down my street, I put on low beams and heard a fast clicking. Then, the 'check engine light' came on. I parked in my driveway, turned off the engine and the lights. When I re-started my car, the 'check engine light' did not come back on.
I just had this car lubed and oil changed with a reliable mechanic, who usually checks things out pretty well. Is the 'check engine light' likely due to the new headlight problem?
