1997 Chevy Cavalier engine will not start

My car has the 2.2 OHV motor. 2 Days ago I was driving and the car hesitated and the motor died put the power was still on. Its a 5 speed and I was doing 50 miles per hour and the motor started working again but the engine light turned on. I got it home and now it will not start. It rolls over but when I turn it on without ingaging the starter I here a buzzing noise coming from the relay box in the engine compartment and in the dash.The tach jumps all over the place also. The relay for the fuel pump was also replaced with no luck. Could you please help me with my problem.

Need to scan it to see what code is stored in the PCM, this will help us find the problem. Check power lead to the underhood relay/power center for good clean connections
