When driving the car down the road it will just shut off. The oil pressure light will come on, and the check engine light (which has been on for months now, due to what was emission problems) will begin flashing, and the engine will just shut off. after a few times of turning the key and pumping the gas the engine will start back up, and will need to be reved for a few minutes before driving, but minutes later will shut off again most times. Somedays the car will work fine, and others not so well. I have been driving it like this for a week now, on the same tank of gas I got on the day the problems began. Also when ideling the oil light will sometimes come on, but I have checked the oil and it is fine. I was told it could be water in the gas tank, but that seems unlikely. I also installed a new stero system days before the problems began, so could it be security problems? thanks.
