Brakes problem
1997 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My abs light came on briefly for 5 minutes. I parked my car and then restarted my car 2 minutes later and the ABS light did not return. I am scheduled for new front wheel brake pads to be installed. Could the ABS light be something else than the front brakes. Should I have a diagnostic done?
