Shakes or Wobbles problem
1997 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 116000 miles
1997 chevy cavalier 116000 miles. my car had died like it had ran out of gas (it said it still had a quarter of a tank). put a little gas in and tried cranking it but it shook really bad and something in front of the drivers side made a noise like a clanking fan. I was told to fill it up over a half of a tank and let it set and it will start working properly. so far it hasnt worked. I get the same thing everytime.

Check fuel pressure with mechanical gauge, if it ran out of gas, the pump may have overheated.
If fuel pressure is OK, then check spark.
