I just bought this used car, and had the safety done. Today it wouldn't start. I thought it was gas, but when I put some it, still nothing. It tries to turn over. My brother checked the spark plugs, there is a spark. The battery is fine. I checked all the fuses, they look fine. Any ideas?

When u turn the igintion on?. Can u hear the fuel pump buzzing or priming noise?. I would reccomend getting youre fuel pump pressure tested.

GoodLuck.

I forgot to say 200000 km, manual, 4 door. Yes there is a buzzing in the back when I turn on the ignition. You can smell gas coming through the exhaust pipe. My brother thinks that if I disconnect the battery for 20 minutes it will reset the computer and that might be the problem. Will that hurt anything if I try it?

It was parked on a steep hill overnight. Could that have done something?

Thanks.

Thats not good to have a gas smell coming from youre exhaust system. I would take look underneath youre car to see if any fuel is leaking from a hose or something. If you can here a buzz from the pump, Then youre fuel pump relay is working, And the fuel pump is too. I would also get the fuel pump regulator looked at too.
