when i got into my car to start it one morning it smelt of burnt plastic or rubber. there are no burnt out fuses and everything works but when you try to start the car nothing happens. the battery is good and the altenator is good i recently changed the nuetral safety switch. the starter works but only if you kick start the starter solinoid . i don't know enough about ignition systems to know what the problem is but if there is anything anyone might be able to add it would be a huge help.
