Electrical problem
1995 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
My starter was spinning but not engaging so I changed it...once the job was complete I went to reconnect the battery cable and the car tried to start with the key no where near the ignition. I rechecked the wiring and everything is exactly where it is suppose to be. Now someone said something about the ignition switch??? How could my ignition switch be bad if that was not my original problem. (there was never any indication that the car was starting itself before) I thought "remove starter...replace starter pretty simple" The car sounds normal as it is starting (not like before) but the ignition is not on....Help please anyone?
