1992 Chevy Cavalier stalling
stalls when brake applied at stop light. rpm fluctuates. engine idle not running smoothly.
told it may be mass air flo sensor. what is that. expensive?

i couldn't find anything on that particular car having a Mass Air Flow Sensor it may be an oxygen sensor or a fuel throttling sensor, although if you are having problems with it idling than you might need to check the Idle Control unit(price is usually around $40.00) picture is shown below
