Chevy a/c accumulator
Air Conditioning problem
1994 Chevy Caprice V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 460000 miles
Respected,
I have change the A/C Compressor & Condensor Hose due to gas leakage. Now I have to fill new gas 134 number, in this regards is it important to change also A/C Accumulator along with gas?
I also requesting you please let me know why the light comes “Eng. check “

If you change th ecompressor, it is good practice to change the accumulator(receiver/dryer) as well.Most compressor companies wont warranty the compressor unless you do change it. As far as the check engine light goes, you will need to have it (computer) scanned for codes to see what is wrong
