i have a 1997 z28 camaro with 81000 miles and a 5.7L v8 and i have just bought and the other day i opened the spare tire compartment and found what looked like a relay that said theft detturent shock sensor and i was wondering if it was a security feature that accually shocked someone if they touched the car. my friend has one of these systems installed on his pick-up and i was wondering if thats what it was and if it is then how can i activate it. thank you

LOL....... No I dont think that would sell very well, With GM, To many law suits would occur, I believe that shock sensor unit, Is if the car is hit or lifted up with a tow truck the alarm with be triggered to go off, activate the horn alarm to go off.
