2002 Chevy Camaro Zero Oil Pressure

I just purchased a 2002 Chevy Camaro for my daughter, when initially starting there is oil pressure, after several minutes the oil pressure drops and there is a lot of pinging. After letting cool off and restarting the pressure comes back. Any ideas

Usually this is a sign of to much bearing clearance inside the engine weather it be main bearings rod bearings or cam bearings you really would be able to tell until you took apart the engine.
