1996 chevy blazer 4.3 vortec, I know its a switching problem between the heated oxygen sensors, and that it is bank 2 sensor 1, causeing the problem, changed it to new changed all to new actually, reset ecm, light comes back on, upon researching the manufactureing codes I come up with p= powertrain 1=fuel and air metering 5=vehicle speed control, idle control 3=ignition system or misfire, I am at wits end, all connections are good, vehicle will hesitate upon normal driving at a steady speed rpms jump up and down not drasticlly but enough to know its there, so any ideas what is causeing this malfunction.

Couple thoughts.

At idle and at operating temp, is the cooling fan coming on and the thermostat opening? CTS good?

Make sure connections are good.

Coolant temperature sensor. The angle I was taking was the engine coolant not coming to temperature.
