Ignition Switch Key

Hello i am helping my brother in law change his steering column i bought one from the auto salvage but it did not come with a key how do i change the key switch from the old column to the new one it is a 1988 s10 chevy blazer ive never changed one before

need to remove steering wheel, lock plate, turn signal switch. There will be a pin-bolt holding the tumbler in(torx head). Unbolt and remove it, tumbler will come out
