I have a 1998 Chevy S10 blazer v6 mileage 125000
I resently replaced the fuel pump now the the fuel gage doesnt work it will only go to just above the red mark enough to make the low fuel light go out, I have to use the trip meter to gage when I need to refuel. What could be causing the fuel gage not to work?

Thank you Roy

The problem is probably gonna be a defective fuel sending unit on the fuel pump. I hate to say it but you'll need another fuel pump. The sending unit comes on it. I would drive it till you know when it's time to fill up then replace it. Before you do, make sure all the connections to the pump are good. If so and the problem still exists, replace the pump and send the other back for a warranty. Good luck
