2000 Chevy Blazer, 82000 miles, 2WD, Automatic. Started notice a fluttering sound from the engine when it's cold that goes away once the engine has run for awhile. Any cause for concern?

when you say flutering sound do you mean a slight tinny sound?

Hard to describe, but it does sound tinny. It increases in volume (but not speed) when I accelerate and all but disappears when I'm idling. Once the car has run for awhile, it goes away entirely.

check the heat shields to see if that is what is making the sound.
