I recently had some heat problems with this truck which I just repaired. I have awsome heat now, however, my a/c pump always stays running. I have to unplug the wire to the pump to shut it off. Is my problem a bad relay in the fuse box compartment under the hood?

Check the relay its in the underhood fuse block-test the coil and switch side of the relay.

The coil side should read atleast 40 to 80 ohms and the switch should be infinity meaning no reading-if its has a reading it means its shorted out. And when its shorted out it will constantly past power.

Also the computer energizes the relay you might want to look into it.
