2002 Chevy Blazer Relearn Crankshaft Sensor
How do you perform a relearn on a crankshaft sensor. Is this expensive if you take it to a dealer?

you will need a tech 2 to do it. where i live they charge an hours worth of labor for the job, but it only takes 45 sec to perform if the car is warmed up.

Would it help if I returned the 'aftermarket' crankshaft sensor and bought a new GM sensor for this vehicle. I heard sometimes you can do this and it does not have to be set up 'learned'?

not sure on that, may i ask why do you think you need to do a crankshaft relearn. the only time you should have to do it is when you reprogram the pcm.
