Welcome to the forum, when the problem occurs, are you saying it cranks good but won't start, or it won't even crank? If it cranks good but won't start, have helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. If you have park everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure.

All the system problems you listed are based on the electrical system. If that system is having a problem it could lead to several misc. problems occuring all at once.
I would suggest to start simple and have the electrical system thoroughly inspected. ( Battery, cables, alternator, and regulator if separate from alt. ) Also be aware that the computer requires a properly running electrical system and ground connection to operate correctly. Don't assume it must be the computer.
Note : The computer can be damage if exposed to excessive electrical current. Such as improper jump starting or ignition coil/wire arcing.

This is a good start for a random electrical problem on a vehicle with high miles and age. Always start simple / inexpensive and then work to complicated / expensive. Always remember that the repair shop should be able to explain in understandable terms why your problem occured.
