I recently purchased the above vehicle and at highway speeds hear a whining sound from the right front side. When I activate my 4x4 it automatically goes away.

Once I go back to 2 wheel drive it is ok but the sound returns 10-15 minutes later.

4x4 is operational....I have heard to change the transfer case oil or possibly a relay switch....any truth to either????
