My alternator fuse keeps on blowing as soon as I turn the key. I replaced the Alternator. As soon as I turn the key, not to the "Start" but the Accessory position. I'm thinking it could be the starter? I've even used double the amperage ( 10 amp) fuse and it pops right away. Please help.

Hello, with the alternator connector unplugged, does the fuse circuit still go to ground? You can use a testlight across the fuse terminals instead of the fuse.

You can run a B+ jumper from the battery post to the testlight, touch the testlight to the fuse terminal that goes to the alternator, with the connector unplugged, if the light comes on, I think the wiring circuit is shorted to ground, somewhere.
