I repllied to your message last week and have not gotten a response back. It was about the o2 sensor. If you did not receive it please let me know. Thank you very much.

It is a 2007 chevy aveo. 1.6 litre, e-tec 2. 16 valve. Its the nearest oxygen sensor to the engine. I have 2 white wires, 1 black, and 1 light gray. Which wire is the high side of the 02 sensor?

Not to sure what you mean by the "high side" of the 02 sensor. I looked at the wiring diagram and there is no high side. Just have low reference, signal 1 and heater control. The color of the wires don't match with the wiring I come up with? What are you trying to do here? I also need to know if this is a hatchback or a notchback. With or without throttle actuator control. All this makes a difference.

First of alll, it is a hatchback. I am trying to install the EFIE (short for electronic fuel injection enhancer) into the highside wire of the 02 sensor. Some oxygen sensors have wires labeled highside and lowside. The manual will tell you. Which is the highside signal wire, but I do not have a manual. The correct oxygen sensor signal wire will have no electrical connection (continuity) to: the vehichles ground(negative) or the vechicle exhaust pipe, and any other wire coming from the oxygen sensor. I checked continuity from the sensor and everything has continuity. Thats why I will give you the color and number of wires: 2white, 1 black, and 1 light gray. Those are coming from the 02 sensor. I have different color wires that it is plugging into. 1 is pink & bllue, 1 brown, 1 black & blue and 1 white.

Here is the wiring 1
D-BU/BK
429
Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 1 Signal

2
BN
50
Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 1 Heater Control

3
WH
428
Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 1 Low Reference

4
PK/D-BU
1734
Main Relay Output

this should be what your looking for. The aveo is a different breed, these cars a real pain to work on!
