My truck will blow cold air properly when AC is turned on. Then after driving for awhile, the passenger side vents will blow hot air only. The driver side vents blow cold air and work fine. When hooked up at dealership computer gave error message but nothing pinpointing a problem is what the technician said. He says they need to take apart the dash to find the problem. Any advice as to the problem/cost? Thanks in advance!

Do you have duel climate controls. Have them check and see if the actuator is moving correctly and the temp door is moving freely.

There are separate temperature actuators for each side if your truck has driver/passenger heater/ac controls. The actuators control the blend door to make each side cooler or warmer. Actuator malfunction is the most likely cause of this condition.
