2003 Chevy Avalanche Any suggestions?

My 2003 only has 45,000 miles on it. This problem started a couple of months ago. It ticks very loud when started but after engine warms up it stops. The problem also seems to be affecting my oil pressure. Strange thing is when I have my oil changed it stops for about the 1st 1200 miles or so and then starts up again. I have had the truck checked out and they cannot pin point the reason for this. I have had the oil pan dropped and cleaned and the pick up tube replaced. They have also checked the oil pump and it is fine.

Sounds like a lifter leakdown problem

I know there is a TBS Bulletin out there that states there are some type of an issue with the lifters on this truck, hoever I cannot seem to get my hands on the actual bulletin.
