Noise

I think my fuel pump is going. My 2005 chvy venture makes a constant popping/ clicking noise.
I've isolated it to first occurring when parked and I turn the key slightly as to engage the fuel pump.

The noise never stops when running.
someone said it was the lifters but since my recent discovery above cant be the lifters.


any ideas?
