My vehicle: 1995 chevy astro van, 163k mi, auto, 4.3lL engine. Vehicle has dead electrical system ; something happened while parked overnight; was running perfect, 14.2 V at idle, battery fully charged. Next day, NOTHING ! Battery reads o.O V. Have no schematic or diagram of fuse block. Could the problem be a main circuit breaker, I have no idea. Has only (1) fuse block, on driver side kick panel, very cramped. Please help, thank you.

I would love to know if and how this got fixed.

I just bought this van used and have had the alternator and battery replaced.

It's at the shop now haveing an expensive electrician run some tests.

It will run fine then maybe 3 days later will be completely dead.

From the man's description above, i'm wondering if the guy who posted above just gave up and sold me his bum van.

Or maybe this is a common problem with 95 astros? But then maybe I could find an easy solution.

Please help!
