The easiest way is from the inside of the van. Pull the doghouse cover and use a 5/8" socket with attached swivel. It will make it easier. Then do them one at a time.

I usually get the front 4 through the wheel well with a long extension, and the back 2 from underneath "by feel" since you can't see them. Astro's don't eat spark plugs. They eat ignition wires and distributor cap and rotors. I would use only Autolite Double Platinum plugs. I have had 4 Astro's and I have had the best results with this plug.
