2000 Chevy Astro Brake light, entry lights, cruise control,
Electrical problem
2000 Chevy Astro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 104,00 miles
During day back up lights stay on, rear brake lights are indicating they are on. Turn right hand signal light radio light/dash panel light flashes with turn signal. Left hand turn signal operates fine. Hit brake lights and faint reduction in light from full on, also radio and dash lights go out with activation of pedal. Entry lights do not operate. Turn key off hit brake pedal warning alarm comes on?
During night back up lights stay on, rear brake lights indicate they are activated. Turn right signal solid signal no blinking. Turn left signal operation normal. Loss of cruise contron use in night time condition.
Took to dealer and told that nothing wrong with steering column. Seems to be a short in the back of the van.
Something is sending a signal from the brake pedal electrical system that effects the day and night operation of the turn signal, brake lights, cruise control, radio and dash lights?
