Hi. Vehicle dies intermittently as if someone turned the key off. It may or may not start again for anywhere from a few minutes to a few days. As a rule, I cannot hear the fuel pump when it won't start but there has been an occasion or two that it has started again without hearing the fuel pump. It may run for several days without a problem or it may crap out several times in several miles. Doesn't appear related to jarring or bumps when it happens so I'm inclined to not think a loose connection somewhere. When running, if I pull the fuel pump relay, it stops. When it won't start, there are no hot terminals at the relay socket. I know about the fuel pump test terminal but for the life of me cannot find it. Thinking someone may have clipped it off, I looked at the neighbors Astro and can't find anything there either. Any other way to jump start the fuel pump maybe? Thanks in advance!

Probably a pump on its way out more than a bad connection considering the mileage, that may be a record for a GM fuel pump. Lol A faulty/shorting oil pressure sender can cause a fuel pump not to work as well. Test the gray wire at the tank for power, that is for the pump. It will tell if it is a pump or wiring problem
