1996 Nissan Truck • 120,000 miles
I just replaced the engine in my 1996 Nissan truck (EX) with another 1996 Nissan truck engine. I'm getting a check engine code of "crankshaft sensor". This sensor is located on the transmission. However, the truck I put the motor into does not have this sensor (or the hole for the sensor) on the transmission. Again, both are 1996 Nissan trucks. Any ideas on how to not have the check engine light come on for this code? Thanks for your help.
