Hi I changed my battery and it started for a few seconds and shut off about five times and now it wont start at all. I have tried multiple things and it will not start. It coded as unrecognizable key but it is the same key that I gotten from the dealer. Is there a way to fix this without taking it to the dealer and paying hundreds of dollars?

Has this key worked in the past? Do you have a different key to try? Is the security light staying on?

Since the light is staying on, that tells me the computer isn't recognizing the key. I hate to say it, but it needs to go to a dealer to be checked using the proper test equipment.

To the best of my knowledge, no. If it was an easy fix, thieves would be doing it all the time to steal the vehicles.
