Whe I get into my car and put the key in the iginition, sometimes when I turn the key the car wont start. There is no clicking sound, however the electronics shut off (odometer, clock etc). I have to remove the key, open my driver door, shut it, then the odometer and clock come back on. Then I am able to put the key in and start the car. It is now gettming more and more difficult as it takes about 3-4 times of opening and closing the door to start the car. I did notice that when I open and close the door, and only the odometer comes back on, the car still wont star, but if I open and close the door and both the odometer and the clock are on then the car will start. What would cause this??? It happens sporatically, but is getting more frequent lately.
