Ok, the first problem started a month ago. I tried to start my car but it would not but I notice all the lights was working fine like my clock, ceiling light, headlights etc, turned it off then tried to start it and then it started normally. This happened 2-3 times until recently 2 days ago it did the same thing but it would not start at all when turning it off then on again with no results. Then I step on the gas while turning on the car and sure enough it started, people been telling me they hear a funny sound and says I need a new belt since I am hard of hearing, I did not notice the sound. So what could be the problem?

2nd problem, this have been happening few times a month for the past year. My car would jerk real bad while accelerating especially at 30 mph and over, it feels like something is stepping on the brakes real hard and letting go then stepping on brake right after over and over and jerks like 3-4 times in a row then drives fine for a while. I wonder if those 2 problems are related and how do I fix it?

My car is a Dodge Neon SRT

Scan it first see if he can pick anything up you may have an abs problem for the one issue. best thing to do if there is a draw is to pull these fuses and see if they stop the draw if they do then it's in the radio if not then it's something else like maybe an abs unit getting power from the powerdist center or the TIPM module.
