Car turns over but wont fire

I was driving down interstate and car lost power when I shifted into fifth gear. Bought new battery checked spark plugs fuel injectors, replaced fuel filter and retimed the belt and car still wont fire.

Start with basics. Compression fuel pressure and spark. Let us know what is missing

Spark plugs had spark, fuel pump seemed to have enough pressure.

Not sure exact pressure no pressure gauge but it was putting out enough for the gas to shoot out of the fuel filter and how do I check the compression I noticed u guys had a crank but doesnt start area should I juat follow that

Ok car still wont fire we changed spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor but it back fired out of the air intake so im assuming it has to be retimed again
